I am so blessed, grateful and honored by each of your presence! Thank you for being here to share this pinnacle in my career!  This gathering is not just about me or the sculpture, it is about the celebration of love, friendship, mutual admiration, fellowship, camaraderie, patronage and the pursuit of truth and beauty! This is the well from whence Adam and civilization sprang forth!   

This project, which has been the most technical I’ve ever attempted, could not have sprung forth without the help and vision of several people. So the glory of this work is made possible by the following whom I give Thanks:

1. My beautiful wife and daughter and my total inspiration, Ingrid and Jasarae Blue, for being my girls, even though I was like, “The lights are on but I think no one is home” for months. They are the well from whence I spring forth daily!

2. Duncan & Nancy White, dear friends and patrons. It was they who planted the seed and kept it watered, I was merely the soil that wrought it forth. Story of how we met thru Tony and picnic.                                     

3. Steve Tirone, who couldn’t make it because he is on the shores of the Italian Riviera, Pietrasanta, Italy, carving marble where the great masters worked. He is my art angel, friend and facilitator who has cast most of my bronzes including this one. He went to the enth degree with me in the pursuit of perfection. Without him this project would have suffered, I would have suffered.

4. Terry Prince, brother in law who has gone the extra mile for me- I overheard him talking with friends that I was worse than having a sister in a whore house- I must say, though, he has pulled me out of some compromising positions! He is a master welder that secured the infrastructure, and repaired the blemishes of Adam.
